Our Process · Step 05

Verification Testing

Proving performance with measured data.

Once installation is complete, we verify the system the same way we designed it — with measurements. A full walk test documents how the system actually performs, floor by floor, against the design targets.

What this step involves

  • Post-installation walk tests using SeeHawk Touch and the IBflex
  • Public Safety Grid Tests performed in accordance with IFC 510 and the AHJ's testing requirements. The jurisdiction may require that the grid test be witnessed or they may be an active participant verifying their radios work at each grid test point
  • Survey data imported into iBwave and compared against design targets
  • Carrier acceptance testing coordinated and documented, where required
  • Corrective-action recommendations if any area falls short of target

What we deliver

Complete walk-test data and coverage documentation when required

Grid test results mapped against the required floor plan areas

Test report suitable for carrier acceptance and AHJ review

Why it matters

Sign-off — by the carrier, the fire marshal, or both — depends on documented evidence, not assurances. The verification package is what turns a working system into an accepted one.
