The GoBook Q-200 is a versatile,
ergonomic, ultra-rugged handheld computer running the
Windows CE.NET 4.2 operating system from Microsoft.
Designed from the ground up to be as rugged as they
come, the GoBook Q-200 handheld computing solution is
ideal for mobile workforces that operate in demanding
mission-critical environments. The Q-200 meets the
mission critical demands of mobile field workers,
providing the best drop specification, operating
temperature range and sealing rating in its class.
Inside the rugged sealed enclosure system is the popular
Xscale 400 MHz processor from Intel that enables
powerful processing, high performance Windows CE
applications and simplified custom application
development. A multitude of standard interfaces
(including 10/100Mbit Ethernet, Serial, USB host and
client, Infrared, PCMCIA, Compact Flash) and the ability
to integrate 802.11B Wireless LAN, Wireless Wide Area
Network technology and Class II Bluetooth® into the unit
simultaneously, enables the GoBook Q-200 to be
configured for a variety of mission critical mobile
computing applications, including automatic meter
reading, asset management, inspections and field service
management.
